Welcome

From conflict comes opportunity if you're willing to do what it takes. For the right price, anything can be had when you know the right people. Whether subtlety and finesse are paramount, or more direct brute force and explosives are required; we always get the job done.

To be called a Mercenary, you have to be dedicated. You have to be ruthless. You have to be... here to have a good time. The bottom line is that we're all here to make the most of our time playing the game in a mature, laid back, drama free environment. Honor and integrity are among our core virtues.

While we are PvP oriented, our interests include crafting, exploring, PvE, raiding, and just socializing. Our intent isn't to be one of the largest guilds. We think quality is far more important for success and longevity. We're a tight unit, with most of us having friendships that go back many years.

Unlike many of the start up guilds currently recruiting, Mercenary is an established guild with an already diverse membership. The name is in reference to a lifestyle and not the bounty hunter class. Our members have a broad range of classes and interests and it's that diversity that makes us strong. We welcome the hardcore and causal alike.

As a team, we offer each other greater opportunities and access to a wider selection of resources and support. Our goal is to be entirely self sufficient and self contained, but we also support, and have access to, our allies in the Empire. Our members have access to our full featured website, forums, and ventrilo.

We do not have a heavy structure, or hierarchy. If you're thinking you want to be an officer, or hold a position of power then we may not be the right guild for you. Each of our members is an equal and valued member of the team, and we do not support the use of guild structure as a tool for personal ego stroking. We have plenty of opportunities for people to stand out and take on more responsibility if they so choose, but the idea is to strengthen the guild and not your position in it.

Our rules are minimal and mostly common sense. There isn’t a requirement to memorize pages of bylaws, but you should be familiar with our guidelines. These are always subject to change, and meant to support the good of the guild as a whole.
